Kelly recalls that when Akon first heard “Hold My Hand,” he liked the track so much that he recorded it for his own project: In fact, “Hold My Hand” never actually made it to Houston for her consideration. “What people don’t know is that is actually one of the first songs I wrote back then,” Kelly reveals.
